Extraction and retrieval of IPTV web stream links

IPTV web stream links can be retrieved from live video streaming web site pages using network / media utilities via web browser developer tools (Mozilla Firefox etc.). These links are in HLS (Https Live Streaming, .m3u8) or DASH (Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over Http, .mpd) format. How to find an M3U8 link? Go to the live video stream web page, and activate the developer debug mode, for example on Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge, then inspect the M3U8 link in the Network section by filtering on the extension or the type (Media).
